Blending polishes together creates neat color combinations for the nail designs. You can blend darker and lighter shades of the same color or mix any color of your choice with white nail polish. We picked peachy pink and soft purple to mix with white nail polish to give you a few design ideas. Try blending any colors you like or already have. You can always test the results on paper.

After a clear base coat apply a bright pink polish on your big toenail and white polish on your smallest toenail. If neded apply two coats for better coverage.

Pour a little bit of each color onto the sheet of paper. Use a toothpick for mixing. Don't pour too much right away, as the polish will thicken quickly. See the polish storage tips below.

Use the brush from the darker polish bottle for application. As you need to create a lighter shade of purple keep adding more white polish to the mix.

Purple, white and pink are just a few out of many color combinations you can come up with. Share your cool ideas with us by sending photos to Toe-rrific gallery.

After applying the polish make sure to clean the brush with the cotton pad soaked with polish remover. This will help to preserve the original color of the polish in the bottle.

As a little extra you can add a French tip element to your design. Paint a lighter colored tip for the darker toenails and a darker tip for the lighter toenails. You can also add some glitter above the tip.
