For creating Traditional St. Patrick's Day design
you will need frosty white and grass green nail polishes.
Silver, gold or green glitterpolish is optional.
For Modern St. Patrick's Day design you
will need bright pistachio and deep dark shade
of green.
Start with a clear base coat. Apply two layers of frosty white polish. Let toenails dry well between coats. After a clear base coat apply two layers of bright green nail polish. You can choose any bright shade you like.
Our shamrock is created by three dots of dark green polish. Using a corner of the brush shape dots as leafs and add a stem between them. In a modern design, shamrock leafs are symbolized by three dots. Add a vertical stroke for a stem.
Paint over the shamrock leafs with a clear polish with glitter. Silver, gold or green glitter will work equally well. To easily create dots hold the brush upright to the nail and drop a little bit of polish onto the nail.
When it comes to shine it's never too much. Paint the whole nail with glitter if you like. Wearing green on your toes will sure bring you the luck of the Irish! For extra luck paint a four-leaf shamrock on one of your toes.
Relieve Tension:
All over the world Irish people and friends celebrate March 17th, with parades, festivities, music and dancing. Your heart will be merry but your feet might be tired after that. To relieve tension and puffiness in feet soak them in a bath with Epsom salts. You can easily find these restorative salts at any drug store.
